Ambrose Brooks S. is an organizer and policy analyst committed to prison abolition, racial justice, and LGBTQ activism. Their work aims for legislative and systems-level reform grounded in community empowerment, coalition building, and radical lawyering. Born and raised in Southern California, Ambrose is a lifelong surfer whose artistic practice considers the ocean as a site for environmental justice and queer potentialities. Ambrose holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Duke University.
