Marcella Rosen is a digital communications professional with a background in media strategy, data analytics, and web and graphic design. She holds BFA in Art and Technology from the University of Oregon, where she completed a dissertation examining the role of urban technology in the gentrification and housing displacement in Portland. Marcella has worked with both nonprofits and local organizers alike, on issues such as housing justice, disability rights, climate change, LGBTQ inclusion, and public school funding. Marcella is a longtime prison abolitionist and, as the Media Coordinator for Care First California, is dedicated to changing pretrial legislation and reinvesting in community health. Outside of work Marcella spends her time reading, working on art, and going out dancing.
